Digital Marketing Audit Services

You’re already paying for the marketing. Let’s find out what you’re getting from it.

Your website. SEO. Ads. Social. Email. Analytics. Maybe multiple vendors managing different pieces of it.

Full Audit looks at what’s actually happening—what’s working, what isn’t, what’s getting missed, and what deserves your attention next.

No pitch for more marketing at the end. The answers are the service.

Independent evaluation.
I’m not auditing your marketing to sell you its replacement.

Straight answers.
Good work gets credit. Problems get called out.

Your choice afterward.
Take my recommendations wherever you want.

Independent evaluation.
I’m not auditing your marketing to sell you its replacement.

Start with the Answers You Need

Whether you want a second opinion on one part of your marketing or a complete evaluation of your digital presence, every Full Audit engagement is built around one goal:

Helping you make better marketing decisions.

You don’t have to know exactly which audit you need before we talk. Start with how big the question is.

Let’s Look at the Whole Picture

For businesses that want to understand how everything is performing—and how it all connects.

Comprehensive Digital Marketing Audit

The whole picture—not seven separate opinions.

Your marketing doesn’t happen in neat little boxes. An ad can be doing its job while the landing page loses the lead. SEO can drive traffic while broken tracking makes the results impossible to measure.

The Comprehensive Marketing Audit looks across your digital presence and the connections between it.

  • Website + Conversion
  • SEO + Local Search
  • Advertising
  • Social Media
  • Email + Automation
  • Analytics + Tracking
  • Content + Messaging
  • Strategy + Channel Alignment

A clear answer.
You’ll know what’s working, what isn’t, and what I’m seeing across your marketing.

Evidence behind it.
Findings are backed by performance data, research, and what is actually happening—not assumptions.

A complete look at where your marketing stands—and how it got there.
I review up to 12 months of historical performance data, take a deeper look at the most recent 90 days, and assess your marketing as it stands today.

Priorities, not a giant to-do list.
Every recommendation is organized into Fix Now / Fix Next / Future Opportunity.

A roadmap.
You’ll know what should happen next, why it matters, and who can take care of it.

A walkthrough with me.
We’ll review everything together so you’re not handed a giant PDF and wished good luck.

Focused Marketing Audits

Sometimes the question is already pretty specific.

Why isn’t our website generating leads?
Are we actually showing up in Google?
Are our ads wasting money?
Is social media doing anything for us?
Are we using our email list well?

That’s where a Focused Audit makes sense.

Website + Conversion Audit

You’re getting traffic. What happens when it gets there?

I’ll review usability, messaging, conversion paths, mobile experience, performance, calls-to-action, forms, and the friction that may be costing you leads.

SEO + Local Visibility Audit

Can the right customers actually find you?

I’ll look at organic visibility, local search, Google Business Profile, rankings that matter, technical foundations, content, and competitive positioning.

Advertising Audit

Are your ad dollars actually turning into business?

I’ll review your campaigns, targeting, budgets, creative, landing pages, conversion tracking, and cost efficiency to see where your spend is working—and where it may be going to waste.

Social Media Audit

You’re posting. But is it doing anything for your business?

I’ll review your content, audience, engagement, consistency, positioning, and channel strategy to see whether your social presence is supporting real business goals—or simply keeping you busy.

Email Marketing Audit

Your email list should be doing more than collecting contacts.

I’ll review your list, campaigns, segmentation, automations, timing, content, and performance to find opportunities to turn email into a more useful part of your marketing.

Every Focused Audit includes a tracking check.

Because I can’t tell you what’s working if the numbers can’t be trusted.

How it Works

From “something isn’t adding up” to knowing exactly what to do next.

01

TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON

Tell me what’s happening, who’s managing what, what you’re spending, and where things aren’t adding up. I’ll ask questions. You don’t need to come prepared with marketing terminology or know exactly what needs auditing.

02

I DIG IN

I’ll independently review the agreed-upon areas of your marketing, dig into the data, look for gaps and opportunities, and evaluate whether your current strategy and execution are actually supporting your goals.

03

YOU GET THE FULL PICTURE

You’ll receive clear findings, prioritized recommendations, and a roadmap for what should happen next. We’ll walk through it together so you understand not just what I found, but why it matters.

04

YOU DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

There’s no execution pitch waiting at the end.

Take the recommendations to your current agency. Give them to your internal team. Hire a freelancer. Handle them yourself. Or bring Full Audit back in later to evaluate your progress.

Ongoing Marketing Oversight

Because marketing doesn’t stand still.

Your marketing changes constantly. So do your competitors, platforms, advertising costs, search results, and customer behavior.

Ongoing Marketing Oversight keeps an independent set of eyes on it all—monitoring performance throughout the year and taking a deeper look every quarter to make sure your priorities still make sense.

Monthly Performance Monitoring

Keep a closer eye on what’s changing.

Each month, I’ll independently review the performance of the marketing channels included in your plan—looking beyond surface-level numbers for meaningful changes, emerging issues, and opportunities worth paying attention to.

There’s no unnecessary monthly meeting or another report to file away. If everything looks as expected, I keep monitoring. If I find something that shouldn’t wait until your next quarterly audit, I’ll let you know.

Depending on your scope, monitoring may include website and conversion performance, organic search, paid advertising, analytics and tracking, local visibility, email, social media, lead performance, competitor activity, and relevant platform or industry changes.

Quarterly Marketing Audit

Every three months, we zoom back out.

Once a quarter, I’ll take a deeper look at the marketing areas included in your plan—not simply compare this quarter’s numbers to the last.

We’ll look at what improved, what didn’t, what changed inside your marketing, what changed around you, and whether your priorities should change with it.

• Performance and trends since the previous audit
• Progress on previous recommendations
• Channel and cross-channel findings
• Competitor and market changes
• Relevant platform and industry developments
• New issues and opportunities
• Updated priorities for the next 90 days
• Quarterly audit report + review meeting

Independent oversight. Not marketing management.

I won’t be running your campaigns or making changes behind the scenes. Your team or agency stays responsible for implementation. My job is to independently evaluate what’s happening, flag what deserves attention, and help you determine what should happen next.

Start with an audit. Stay for the oversight.

Ongoing Marketing Oversight is available after your initial audit, giving you an independent view of your marketing throughout the year—without adding another marketing agency to the mix.

Just need a one-time audit? No ongoing commitment required.

FAQ

Clarity starts with knowing what to expect.

A marketing audit is an independent, in-depth review of your marketing to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where your time and budget may be better spent.

Depending on the audit you choose, I’ll review your performance data, strategy, setup, execution, tracking, and other factors affecting results. You’ll walk away with clear findings and prioritized recommendations—not another dashboard full of numbers to interpret on your own.

For a Comprehensive Marketing Audit, I typically review up to 12 months of available historical data, with a deeper focus on the most recent 90 days and your current marketing setup.

The exact timeframe can vary by channel. SEO may require a longer look to account for trends and seasonality, while paid advertising or social media may put greater emphasis on recent performance. The goal isn’t to review an arbitrary amount of data—it’s to use the timeframe that gives us the clearest picture of what’s actually happening.

A Comprehensive Marketing Audit looks across your marketing ecosystem to understand how your channels are performing individually and how they’re working together.

A Focused Audit takes a deeper look at one specific area, such as your website, SEO, advertising, social media, or email marketing.

If you’re unsure which makes sense for your business, we’ll figure that out before you commit to anything.

You’ll receive a clear, organized audit that explains what I found, why it matters, and what I recommend doing next.

Findings are prioritized so you can distinguish between issues that need attention now, opportunities worth exploring, and things that are already working well. We’ll also review the findings together so you have an opportunity to ask questions and understand the reasoning behind the recommendations.

Usually, yes. The accounts needed depend on the audit, but this may include platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta, your website, email marketing software, or other tools you’re currently using.

You’ll receive straightforward instructions for providing the appropriate level of access. I will never ask you to send passwords.

No. Full Audit can work alongside your existing agency, freelancer, internal marketing team, or other vendors.

The purpose of the audit is to give you an independent perspective on your marketing—not automatically assume the people working on it are doing something wrong. Sometimes an audit uncovers problems. Sometimes it confirms that something is working exactly as it should. Both are valuable answers.

No. The audit is the service.

Full Audit is intentionally built around independent marketing analysis and ongoing oversight—not using an audit as a foot in the door for a website rebuild, ad management contract, SEO retainer, or another implementation package.

If I recommend that something change, it’s because I believe the change is warranted—not because I profit from you hiring me to make it.

Full Audit focuses on auditing, analysis, and independent oversight rather than implementation.

Your recommendations are designed to be actionable by you, your internal team, or your existing marketing partners. When specialized outside help is appropriate, I can help you understand what to look for and what questions to ask without requiring you to hire a particular provider.

That’s completely fine—and very common.

A Comprehensive Audit is based on the marketing your business actually uses. If your marketing footprint is smaller and only one or two areas need attention, a Focused Audit may make more sense. We’ll determine the appropriate scope before your audit begins.

That depends on what your business needs.

You can take your findings and recommendations and move forward completely on your own. There is no required ongoing commitment.

If you’d like an independent set of eyes on your marketing moving forward, Ongoing Marketing Oversight is available to help evaluate progress, identify new issues, and account for changes in your business, competitors, marketing platforms, and industry.

Most Focused Marketing Audits are completed within 7–10 business days. Audits covering two or three focused areas typically take 10–15 business days, while Comprehensive Marketing Audits generally take 15–20 business days. More complex or multi-location engagements may require 3–5 weeks.

For Ongoing Marketing Oversight clients, quarterly audit reports are generally delivered within 10 business days of the scheduled quarterly review date. If I identify a material issue during a scheduled monthly review, I’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you within 1–2 business days rather than waiting for the next quarterly audit.

Your exact timeline will be confirmed in your proposal and begins once the agreement is signed, the required payment is received, onboarding is complete, and all necessary information and account access have been provided.
